About Thornwood Plumbing
Our History
Thornwood Plumbing started in 2023 as a side job company, helping out the neighbors in the community where we live. Using our expertise, in residential plumbing, we were able to handle a wide range of plumbing problems, in a professional manner, all while building a lot of great relationships along the way. Once word of mouth started to grow, we knew it was time to take it to the next step. Now Thornwood Plumbing is operating full time with one goal in mind, to stay trustworthy and reliable by delivering top notch service to all customers. Leaving them with zero doubt knowing they called the right company. Thornwood Plumbing is family owned and operated.

Tim Golter
Licensed Plumber
Founder of Thornwood Plumbing
Tim was introduced to plumbing when he was 16, carrying buckets of tools for his stepdad who owned a small plumbing business. His stepdad continued to teach him the fundamentals of plumbing and once he became a senior in high school he knew what he wanted to do. After high school graduation, Tim had one weekend off before he started his apprenticeship program for a company in Melrose Park. After five years of dedicated handwork, he was a licensed Journeyman Plumber. Tim chose to pursue residential service plumbing for the next 14 year. He loves that every job and every person he visits is different and unique in their own way. Tim is excited to have a business of his own and you'll always see him with a smile on his face. He enjoys spending time with his family and is a die hard Chicago Bulls fan. Go BULLS!
